Bowl For Kids’ Sake
If you like to have fun and help children in your community, Bowl For Kids’ Sake is right up your alley.
Bowl For Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa's largest fundraiser of the year, and all the money raised goes toward providing mentors to children in central Iowa who are in need of a supportive role model. Individuals gather teams of 4 to 6 people to raise money($100 per person) for Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mentoring programs, and then celebrate their fundraising with a free bowling party. Bowl For Kids’ Sake is a wonderful team-building opportunity for businesses. There are many opportunities to win prizes, from a weekend out on the town to airline tickets. Bowl For Kids’ Sake 2008 dates for Des Moines are in March, with various times available for individuals’ and corporations’ convenience.
